• DON’T EVEN REPLY

I’ve got to say that this guy is probably one of the funniest men in the entire world.

    Have a look. Click here.

  • MY ONLY STRENGTH

I fall into your abounding grace.

  • I WAS BORN TO LOVE. YOU.

Not a million fights could make me hate you.

It’s in your eyes where I find peace.

Across from each other, together we’ll wonder

If we will last these days.

Share with me the blankets that you’re wrapped in,

    Because it’s cold outside.

Share with me the secrets you kept in,

    Because it’s cold inside.

In my eyes, I’m screaming for the sight of you.

And tonight I’m dreaming of the things we’ve been through.

    We’re the lovers.

If you don’t believe me then look into my eyes,

    Because heart never lies.

    I’m tired of being alone.

And this solitary moment makes me want you,

    To come back home.

I was born to love you,

For only God knows how much is that true.

    PS: Jiwang? Sekali-sekala… =)

  • AND THE BEST HAS YET TO COME

    …or has it?

  • MENTOR 4 AUDITION

Except for House, Chuck and Supernatural, I don’t really enjoy watching TV at night these days. My son is sleeping right now, and my wife left for his ex-boss farewell dinner, leaving me alone with nothing to do.

On TV right now is Mentor audition for season 4. Started at 2100hrs, I couldn’t stop myself from laughing out loud, watching those idiots making a fool of themselves. Most of them just don’t realize how bad they are in singing. Worse, some of them really think that they are so good, they should’ve been accepted in the reality program with no questions.

That little Penang girl with tag number 0797. Oh dear! (She couldn’t even speak properly, let alone singing).

And that boy from Sitiawan, Perak, who loves his parents so much but sings like a deaf duck. Oh boy!

I personally think that the mentors (for this season, they are Mas Idayu, Mus May, Dayang Nurfaizah, Joe Flizzow, Ziana Zain and Azmeer) are being too nice. Even the harshest of them all (I would say Azmeer) is actually very soft-hearted, to at least tell those fools that they are actually terrible.

They prefer to say “Bukan awak tak boleh nyanyi, tapi awak perlukan lebih latihan lagi..” to the unlucky audition-er. To me, all you need to say (so that they realize it and stop going for other auditions and waste their precious time in their life doing things that they’re bad in) two words, the favorite words of Mr. Cowell in American Idol “That’s horrible”. Add some extra impact by changing ‘That’s’ to ‘You’re’.

Malaysia is short of high-profile, brilliant but cruel (literally) people like Simon Cowell, Nigel Lythgoe, or my personal favorite Jeremy Clarkson. Ironically, these three came from the same country which ‘conquered’ us years ago for so long before Tunku Abdul Rahman shouted the magic word, claiming Malay as a free nation. Aren’t there any seed from people like them left here on this Boleh-land?

There was one guy who is actually,  as good as them. Unfortunately, he’s not in the music or motion picture industries. He rather quietly sits in his office on top of KLCC, criticizing everyone in Malaysia’s rotten political field. Government or opposition, no one gets away from his sharp words.

Dare not to say his name. I still love my blog. Cheers!
